The Future Resilience Fund
Increasing the total pool of capital available for the recovery and reconstruction by leveraging strategic catalytic capital to rebuild better
Catalytic capital
The strategic use of philanthropic capital to attract more funding by supporting innovative solutions and reducing risks for other funders, such as the private sector, government, and traditional philanthropists.
Rebuilding better
An approach to interventions that not only rebuilds what was destroyed but also creates more resilient and sustainable systems and addresses pre-crisis challenges strategically.
OUR THESIS
We are at a watershed moment
We only have one chance to rebuild. The complexity and severity of the crisis demand we rethink our approach to recovery
Problems
Solutions
01
Existing funds will not be sufficient
Unlock additional recovery capital through surgical intervention
Dramatically increase resources available for building and reconstruction in Israel and the region
02
Going back to pre-Oct 7th is not good enough
Focus on rebuilding better over mere recovery
Establish the essential foundations for the much-needed transformation of key overlooked sectors, industries and more
03
Donation supply-demand inefficiencies lead to distrust
Partner directly with the most affected communities and connecting to their operations
Give a voice to those with lived experience in identifying, vetting, and prioritizing needs and opportunities
04
There’s no perfect blueprint for recovery
Rebuilding better in the region can set a precedent for humanitarian disaster relief worldwide
Introduce successful models and technologies to other regions grappling with disaster and conflict
INTERVENTIONS
We Utilize Innovative Funding Models
We surgically and creatively leverage various funding mechanism to optimize the impact of every dollar spent
